SPONSORING ABDULLAH BAKHASHAB
Abdul Latif Jameel Motors entered into the world of motorsports by supporting Abdullah Bakhashab. This support led him to move from the Middle East Championship to participating in the World Rally Championship in the Teams Cup Category. Winning the Rally Corsica, Catalunya, and Finland.
JEDDAH - MOTORSPORT EVENT
During the Jeddah Shopping Festival, Prince Abdul Majeed bin Abdulaziz, then Governor of the region, approved Abdul Latif Jameel Motors' request to host the first of its kind race. Champions from various Middle Eastern countries gathered to compete in RAV4 and Corolla rally cars provided by the organizers.
RAV4 ME TOYOTA CUP
Following Toyota's decision to switch from rallying to Formula 1, Abdul Latif Jameel Motors collaborated with the FIA to establish the Toyota Cup Middle East, a one-make series championship based on the RAV4 wheelbase.
FUTURE RALLY DRIVER CAMPAIGN
The first temporary Rally Academy that attracted 12,000 applications across the Kingdom. As a result, six new talents were discovered.
TOYOTA SAUDI RALLY TEAM
The champions who graduated from the Rally Academy participated in 4 rounds of the Middle East Championship in the Team Cup category.
HAIL RALLY
The kingdom's inaugural official international desert rally held within the Saudi borders sponsored by Abdul Latif Jameel Motors.
SAUDI AUTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP
Abdul Latif Jameel celebrated its 10th anniversary in motorsport by renewing partnerships with the Hail Rally and other championships.
FJ CRUISER RALLY CAR
In celebration of their 10th anniversary in motorsport, Abdul Latif Jameel unveiled a custom FJ Cruiser rally car, symbolising their passion and dedication to the racing community.
FUTURE RACER PROGRAM
The program received 3,000 applications across the Kingdom, leading to the discovery of 15 promising new talents.
KARTING CHAMPIONSHIP
The inaugural internal karting race took place featuring 15 participants in its first year. This event was followed by a karting tournament with faster cars, from which the best drivers were selected to form the Toyota Racing Team.
ASSOCIATION WITH SAMF
In 2019, Abdul Latif Jameel made a remarkable return to motorsport after a five-year interval. In partnership with the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation for the launch of Saudi Toyota Championship, they launched six championships: Rally, Autocross, Drift, Drag, Time Attack, and Hill Climb

YAZEED AL-RAJHI WINS THE CROSS-COUNTRY BAJA WORLD CUP
With great pride, Saudi champion Yazeed Al-Rajhi has been crowned the winner of the FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Baja for the first time in his career, becoming the first Saudi to claim the title in the championship’s top category. He achieved this milestone behind the wheel of a Toyota Hilux, in partnership with Abdul Latif Jameel Motors.

Saudi champion Yazeed Al-Rajhi faced numerous challenges this season but overcame them with skill and determination to secure the FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Baja title for the second consecutive year.
RALLY JAMEEL
SEASON 1
Rally Jameel, the first off-road women-only navigation rally was launched by Abdul Latif Jameel Motors to support the direction of Saudi Vision 2030. Spanning four days, the event started in Hail and concluded in Riyadh, passing through Qassim. A total of 34 teams from around the world participated, with the inaugural edition won by Swedish champion Ani Seel and her co-driver Michaela Kotlinsky
SIGNING WITH DANIA AKEEL
Jameel Motorsport has announced a new partnership with Saudi racing champion Dania Akeel, one of the region’s top female motorsport athletes. The move supports both the growth of motorsports in Saudi Arabia and the Vision 2030 goal of empowering women.
ROOKIE RACING
As one of the selective overseas sponsorships, Jameel Motorsport sponsorship of ROOKIE Racing is an exciting milestone for the motorsports industry both at national and international level.
GR SAUDI DRIVING SCHOOL
In 2023, in line with Abdul Latif Jameel Motors’ racing ambitions and the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation’s mission to discover new talent, the GR Saudi Racing School was launched in collaboration with the federation. From the program, five new drivers graduated to compete in the Saudi Toyota Championship: Abdullah Qabbani, Hamza Bakhashab, Mahmoud Abed, Reem Al-Aboud, and Yousef Bahuwaurth, achieving 18 podium finishes in their very first year of participation.

The GR Saudi Team was selected from the champions of the GR Saudi Driving School to shine in the Saudi Toyota Championship across four racing disciplines: Time Attack, Hill Climb, Drifting, and Autocross.
DANIA AKEEL MAKES HISTORY AS FIRST FEMALE DRIVER TO WIN OVERALL FIA RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP
Saudi trailblazer Dania Akeel achieved a landmark victory by securing the FIA Middle East Baja Cup, becoming the first female driver to win an overall FIA Rally Championship. Competing across four demanding rounds in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, and Dubai, she demonstrated resilience and versatility, culminating in a spectacular triumph at the Dubai International Baja that sealed her championship title.
GR CO-DRIVER SCHOOL
The co-driver school was launched in response to the shortage of local rally co-drivers. From a pool of 460 participants, 33 candidates were carefully selected in Jeddah.

HAIL TOYOTA INTERNATIONAL RALLY 2025 CELEBRATES 20TH ANNIVERSARY WITH HISTORIC WINS
The 20th edition of the Hail Toyota International Rally delivered thrilling performances and landmark achievements, reinforcing its reputation as one of the region’s most prestigious motorsport events. Saudi motorsport icon Yazeed Al-Rajhi secured his eighth consecutive victory at the Hail Rally, building on his Dakar Rally triumph, while Dania Akeel with a third-place finish. In the SSV categories, Hamza Bakhshab claimed victory in SSV1, marking a milestone year for Saudi motorsport.
SAUDI MOTORSPORT COMPANY AND JAMEEL MOTORSPORT UNITE TO HOST FIRST-EVER MERC AND WRC ROUNDS IN SAUDI ARABIA
In a landmark collaboration, the Saudi Motorsport Company and Jameel Motorsport joined forces to bring the FIA Middle East Rally Championship (MERC) and the World Rally Championship (WRC) to Saudi Arabia for the first time. Rally Saudi Arabia powered by Jameel Motorsport debuts in Jeddah as Round 3 of MERC in May 2025 and returns in November as the Kingdom hosts its first-ever WRC season finale, positioning Saudi Arabia at the forefront of global rallying.
YAZEED AL-RAJHI MAKES HISTORY AS FIRST SAUDI WINNER OF THE DAKAR RALLY
Yazeed Al-Rajhi delivered a landmark triumph at the 2025 Dakar Rally, becoming the first Saudi driver to claim victory in the world’s most prestigious rally. Tackling 7,500 kilometers of Saudi desert with precision and determination, Al-Rajhi and co-driver Timo Gottschalk secured a historic win on home soil, cementing his legacy and elevating Saudi Arabia’s position as a global motorsport hub.
